Assisting the must vulnerable since 2013, the Women Ministry & Food Assistance Program (WM-FAP) is a faith based humanitarian organization fighting hunger and working with Women to ameliorate their condition.
As the international community has committed to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition by 2030, one in nine people worldwide still do not have enough to eat. Food and food-related assistance lie at the heart of the struggle to break the cycle of hunger and poverty.
WM-FAP’s efforts focus on providing a Sustainable Food Assistance Program for communities in the World. The program also aims to prevent famine due to wars, civil conflict, drought, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, crop failures and natural disasters.
WFP development projects focus on nutrition, especially for hungry mothers and children, orphans and prisoners.
In the long run WM-FAP goal is to provide a lasting program that can be scaled to each communities, because it relies mostly agricultural activities.
Funded entirely by voluntary donations, since 2013 WM-FAP Members provided help out of their own means, to a few orphanages in Africa where the agency provides assistance.
WM-FAP is currently governed by a 4 Member Executive Board. It works closely with its African based Member who has been taking care of Food distribution to orphanages since 2013.
